Building on its success with Squid Game, Netflix intends to perpetuate its South Korean achievements. The streaming platform has just unveiled the trailer for its next series entitled "HellBound".

And the show wants to rebound on the worldwide success recorded by the "squid game". But what will this new series be about?

HellBound, after the success of Squid Game

Squid Game, with its emblematic actors, is a real success. The South Korean series from Netflix continues to burst the small screen and should quickly establish itself as a fundamental of pop culture. In line with La Casa de Papel, the show is dynamic, well put together and above all, full of twists.

As proof of this success, events related to the series are organized in the big cities of the moment, even if some slippages are sometimes observed, as in Paris. To continue the success of Korean series, Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Hellbound, which will be available on November 19.

Monsters, religion, hell

Directed by Yeon Sang-Oh, who notably performed with the disaster film Last Train for Busan and its sequel Peninsula, the sci-fi series announces heavy with this trailer. All the ingredients are there for it to have the same success as Squid Game.

In short, the South Korean work will tell the story of a dystopian world. Monsters from elsewhere arrive on Earth to condemn people and take them to hell. During this chaos, a religious group preaches that this situation is only the result of supposed "divine justice."

The series is taken from a webtoon, a digital comic which is a huge success in South Korea.
