A successful Halloween party

Even if it seems mostly commercial to us, our children are fond of the Halloween party , one of the rare times of the year when they can dress up and, better still, share it with the whole neighborhood...

An opportunity for them to show off with friends by playing the game of collecting candy. Tips and ideas for hosting a Halloween "party" with your kids.

Disguises

If you don't have the time or great sewing skills, there are plenty of trick-or-treating stores in the Yellow Pages that offer costumes for sale and rental.

While most little boys will dress up as ghosts and the "living dead", little girls will surely like to dress up as a witch... or a pumpkin. Luckily classic outfits, which can also be easily found on the internet.

Otherwise, there is still time until October 31 to make home made costumes. :a large sheet pierced with holes for the eyes, an old-fashioned dress with the appropriate make-up, and voila!

Makeup

Let's talk about it. There is no Halloween worth the name without makeup! You will find plenty of tutorials on the net, especially on YouTube.

But it is also possible to call on a make-up artist for the occasion:why not share it with the children of your friends or your beloved neighbors, to the delight of the children, and share the bill between parents?

This will keep the little monsters busy for a while before the festivities really begin:hide-and-seek in the garden at dusk, treasure hunt, role-playing (the "werewolf" for example) then, a little tour neighborhood looking for candy... Your kids will love this.

Yum yum …

Have you thought about cooking for this evening dedicated to children? Very simple recipes recall the theme of the party, such as Halloween punch (alcohol-free of course…) or meringues in the shape of little ghosts:two eyes made from melted chocolate are enough to give them expression!

Without forgetting the famous pumpkin pie, less in tone visually but also delicious especially since we don't often have the opportunity to taste cucurbits... And just for the pleasure of teaching this word to your pitchouns and make them discover new flavors, why not a 100% pumpkin meal with a good homemade pumpkin soup?

The Werewolf

As we mentioned above, this role-playing game will necessarily be appreciated by children and they will surely already know it through summer camps or the summer camp... An animation with guaranteed success and easy to carry out:if you can prepare the game yourself based on small papers drawn at random, there are ready-to-play "werewolf" cards on the market where all the rules are explained (at FNAC or in all game stores).

To be played preferably at the end of the evening by the fireside, and do not hesitate to involve as many people as possible:you will see, even the grown-ups will take to the game without complaining! Happy Halloween!
