DIY:I make my 100% natural deodorant

We use them daily, yet many deodorants contain substances that are questionable for our health:in particular aluminum salt, a metal used for its antiperspirant effect, which reduces the size of the pores of the skin to reduce the flow sweating; or paraben, an antimicrobial and antifungal preservative.

These substances are implicated for their allergenic and irritating properties, which can even increase the risk of developing diseases, in particular breast cancer.

  • Palmarosa and lavender essential oils are antibacterial.

Mixed together, these ingredients make it very easy to make an effective, healthy, ecological and economical deodorant.
