DMG Entertainment's vision for the Valiant franchise

In 2018, veteran filmmaker, producer, and entertainment entrepreneur Dan Mintz took over Valiant Entertainment with a new roadmap in mind for the comic book giant. Already owning 57% of Valiant, Mintz made a strategic move to acquire full ownership, positioning him and his company DMG Entertainment to realize their vision. This wasn't Dan's first rodeo. He has a long career in the film and entertainment industry, and he has been involved in the production of box office hits. Looper (2012) and Iron Man (2013). Mintz is as capable as anyone when it comes to bringing the Valiant brand onto the pop culture main stage.

Mintz and DMG's first step was to make Valiant's big screen debut with the release of Bloodshot , starring Vin Diesel as Raymond Garrison. Before Bloodshot was even over, talk about a Bloodshot Gaming began when Valiant partnered with Australian studio Blowfish Studios. Since then, Blowfish has been continuously developing the new game.

A movie based on another classic Valiant comic is also in the works:Omen . Omen is currently in development and is being directed by filmmaker Justin Tipping, who has previously directed Kicking films and Nani.

Developments for other Valiant films are planned but not yet fully disclosed. In the coming years, Valiant fans can look forward to comic-based feature films like XO Manowar, Shadowman, Archer, and Armstrong, and Eternal Warrior, to name a few.

DMG doesn't just want to conquer the big screen, they also want to tackle the big screen. Almost immediately after taking over Valiant, Mintz mentioned plans for the development of a number of new TV shows. These include shows based on Quantum And Woody with Getaway Productions and Dr Mirage with CBS Studios.

We don't yet know how well each TV series, feature film, and video game will morph into a single cinematic universe, if at all. However, Mintz has previously said that fans can "expect stronger storytelling with a defined route to other platforms.

Mintz even mentioned theme parks in passing when talking about Valiant's ascension plan:"I'm thrilled to immerse Valiant fans far beyond the stories we tell cinematically - from publication to games. to theme parks and beyond. »

Valiant has the third largest library of comic book characters in history, second only to the "Big 2" (DC and Marvel). This gives Mintz and DMG a vast amount of options to navigate their way in building their cinematic universe and defining Valiant's new identity in the industry.

Dan Mintz once said that Bloodshot is "of Valiant" Blade, » which means just like Marvel, used Lame as a launching pad for a series of blockbuster films. Valiant can also use Bloodshot as its own launching pad.

The number of platforms DMG wants to conquer with Valiant might seem daunting, but there's never been anyone better equipped to take Valiant to the stars than DMG Entertainment and Dan Mintz. Valued at over $6 billion with a now massive repertoire of franchises and experience, Valiant is officially the team to beat.
