Best Shows To Watch If You Like Mindhunter

Have you been waiting for season 3 of Mindhunter? Until last year, all we knew about Netflix's fate Mindhunter was that it had been put on indefinite hold, however, your prayers have been answered and David Fincher reportedly announced earlier this year that the series was returning for a third season.

What sets Mindhunter apart from other crime stories is that it's based on real events and the fictional characters portray real FBI officers who worked tirelessly to profile serial killers in the 1970s. All of the serial killers discussed over the course of the nineteen episode series are real human beings and the imminence of profiling seems so appropriate even in today's world.

While we'll all be waiting for the third season to uncover the psychoanalysis behind BTK's twisted mind, we need similar shows to stay engaged. This article contains a list of shows you should watch if you liked Mindhunter.

While most of the shows on the list can be streamed online, cable fans shouldn't lose heart. Channels like Investigation Discovery and Crime and Investigation continue to air true crime series throughout the day. If your cable package does not include these channels, you should switch to providers such as Optimal Cable which offer these channels in all of their packages.
