Apple TV+ is now available on select Sony TVs

Surprisingly, Apple TV+ is still not available on some of the most popular devices. Apple is taking steps to address this, including today's news that the streaming service app is making its way to select Sony smart TVs.

Stream Apple TV+ to select Sony TVs now

Sony has announced that it is integrating the Apple TV app, which includes the Apple TV+ streaming service, into some of its modern smart TVs.

Apple TV+ is the tech giant's platform that hosts original content like The Morning Show, Defending Jacob, and Greyhound.

"With the Apple TV app, we're making entertainment even more enjoyable and easier for customers to access," Sony said in a press release.

The Apple TV app is now available in the US on Sony's X900H series of TVs. If you have one of these sets, all you need to do is run a software update.

Select 2018 models will receive the app by the end of the year, as well as most 2019 and 2020 models.

What other TVs does Apple TV+ support?

Apple TV+ is available on a range of TVs from manufacturers including Samsung, LG and Amazon Fire TV.

No doubt it will continue to expand to more places, as it only recently became available on Vizio TVs.
