The PUBG New State Mashup tournament has been announced for players in the North American region which will be played over a span of four weeks. The tournament will be held in two stages – Hosted Influencer and Open Qualifiers and Grand Finals where they must play matches on the BR:Extreme mode of the Troi map.
Krafton has teamed up with popular content creators and PUBG influencers to promote the inaugural PUBG New State Mashup Tournament. ChocoTaco, Wynnsanity, and NoahfromYoutube will each host a qualifying tournament that will feature a prize pool of $5,000 each. The best players of this tournament will be able to qualify for the grand final.
The PUBG New State Mashup Tournament Open Qualifiers will be played in three different sets that will take place over 3 days each. The Open Qualifiers will feature a $10,000 USD prize pool and up to 128 teams can register for the tournament here. The top three teams from each Open Qualifier will advance directly to the Grand Final.
The PUBG New State Mashup Tournament Grand Finals will feature 16 teams and a $200,000 prize pool with an additional $5,000 for the tournament MVP. The grand final of the tournament will take place on April 1 and will finally end on April 3.
Fans will be able to watch the Open Qualifiers, Influencer Hosted Tournaments, and Grand Final Matches of the PUBG New State Mashup Tournament on YouTube and the PUBG new State Twitch channel (New State Mobile).
