Fortnite Tornado Update

Earlier, a Fortnite Chapter 3 patch revealed that Tornados were coming to the game, all active to change players' gameplay experience. Fornite already received the big in-game weather change regarding tornadoes and lightning yesterday, and the changes have been reflected in gameplay ever since.

They have already appeared in games and bring a new horizon of gameplay in this season. Many new features are also being incorporated into the game as the season progresses to its climax.

According to a popular Fortnite data miner, the changes are as follows:

  • Tornado chance increased from 80% to 100%
  • Tornado can now appear in the first 6 storms, down from 5
  • Tornado chance to be delayed on first storm reduced from 3 minutes to 2
  • Storm delay time reduced from 3 minutes to 2 minutes

If you see a tornado starting to form, that's not a signal to flee. Instead, run into it as a whirlwind escape strategy! You'll circle around until you choose to slide to safety – or if you keep circling long enough – until the tornado spits you out. Don't worry:you won't take fall damage if you get knocked down.

Tornadoes aren't the only aspect of extreme weather coming fortnite , however, we will also have thunderstorms. If you get hit by an electric bolt from one of these, you will take 10 damage, but you will also gain speed, like when you consume a chili splash.

Fortnite tornadoes form a large, dark, swirling column of wind, sucking in players, vehicles, scenery, and just about anything not nailed down as they move across the map. The extra speed will bring a twist in the game for sure.
