Big Updates Coming April 9 in PUBG, Everything You Need to Know
  • Paramo

The first update is that Paramo is returning to the battlegrounds. Players can now experience all match types (Solo, Duo, Squad) in Paramo and play in TPP and FPP mode. Terrain issues are being addressed, along with an increased spawn rate of Secret Rooms and Supply Helicopters. The map is also available for custom games now.

  • Weapon Upgrades Updates

Significant weapon adjustments will take place with the update. Overpowered weapons like Beryl and SLR are getting a nerf, while underperforming weapons like Mini-13, VSS, and SCAR-L will also get increased damage buffs.

  • Changes to Season 11 Ranked Rewards

Ranked parachute skins are provided from gold and above. Vehicle skins are no longer provided in Ranked. Animated emblems are provided for Platinum and above. Master and Top 500 receive a nameplate and emblem. Emblems and Nameplates are "Honor Rewards" and are provided as "Unlock" types.

  • Emergency Pickup

A new transport tool is introduced to the game. The official item description reads:“When the Emergency Pickup is deployed, a Fulton Balloon is released from its bag. When the balloon is fully inflated and high in the air, a plane will arrive in 60 seconds. Meanwhile, up to a maximum of 4 players can attach themselves to the Fulton Balloon rope.

Once picked up, the squad will be transported to the safe zone until players decide to retreat and parachute down to fight on the ground below. It's also suggested that the item will give players more options whether they want to get past the blue zone or escape a fight. That said, be aware that once the balloon is deployed, nearby enemies will be alerted.

Other important updates in the April Patch Update

TDMs will now be less "Sanhok focused" and matches will take place on various battlegrounds.

The last of the big roster updates says PUBG seasons are getting shorter with season 11, from now on new seasons will drop every two months and Survivor passes won't necessarily follow a similar pattern.
