PUBG Mobile Pro League SA and MENA Championship Season 1:Rico Infinity Team wins the winner's prize


The journey of PUBG Mobile Pro League SA and MENA Championship ended today. The tournament was split into League and Finals stages and a huge prize pool of US$150,000 was reserved for players where Rico Infinity took home the winner's prize of $40,000. 16 teams battled to take the top 4 spots and qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship.

Team Rico Infinty placed first scoring 130 points and a total of 50 frags. DRS Gaming also played well to secure the second position with 127 points. Mongolian team Stalwart Esports was placed in third place with 109 points with 55 kills.

After the championship phase, the finals took place over two days. Here is the general classification after the second day of the final.

The first match of the day took place on the competitive favorite map, Erangel. It was an engaging battle between different teams during the last open play area. Accurate grenades and perfect sprays were the highlights of the first game. It was a head-to-head competition between Cryptics and NASR Esports. Cryptics won the match, however, NASR Esports remained ahead with 23 points. DRS Gaming was held in third position after winning 11 finishes and scoring 21 points.

Miramar was chosen for the second map of the last day of PMPL SA and MENA Championship Finals. It was a spectacular victory for Rico Infinity Team who eliminated the last player. Nigma Galaxy who had been eliminated in fifth place in the previous match made a great comeback by scoring 17 points and taking second place in the match with 5 kills. Trained To Kill was placed third with 12 points with 6 kills. Deadeyes Guys' TuruLoveSir was named the MVP of the tournament.

The third game of PUBG Mobile Pro League SA and MENA Championship was again played in Erangel where Nigma Galaxy snatched chicken dinner from Rico Infinity Team. The latter team was playing impressively in Game 3, getting 10 kills and scoring a total of 20 points. PMPL SA Season 4 winners Wizzes with Vibes placed third with 18 points. They also successfully claimed 10 kills.

Game 4 was played in Sanhok, the rainforest map that saw Team Rico Infinity dominate. The team seemed confident enough to win the league title. Ruthless Aggressive Warriors scored 22 points and 12 kills to secure second place while Cryptics was placed in third place. The fifth and final game was won by DRS Gaming, although FATE Esports was quite dominant.
