After four days of immense action between around twenty teams, the first week of Season 4 of PEL (Peacekeeper Elite League) ended today. The first week saw many unexpected teams rise to the top of the scoreboard and Weibo Gaming was one of those top performers.
The PEL Season 4 regular season began on October 21, 2021 with the same format seen in the third season. This year, Tencent has set new airborne deployment rules for players, which makes the matches interesting to watch. As this will be the last season of the Peacekeeper Elite League this year before PMGC 2021, teams are making sure to survive until the end and climb to the top spot.
During the last two days of Week 1, each team had to play 10 games. Surprisingly, Weibo Gaming who didn't start the tournament well bounced back in the final days of the week to finish the scoreboard with 112 points overall. They also took 50 kills and dominated the final matches.

The STE (Six Two Eight) team was close behind them in the scoreboard with 111 points in total. They are expected to overtake Weibo Gaming in Week 2 of PEL Season 4 as STE showed an equally stunning performance at the tournament. The third position was taken by Titans Esports Club who scored 97 points and 41 eliminations.
The other teams that had the potential to stay on top were Nova Esports, the Season 3 champions of PEL. Fans expect the team to show the same enthusiasm as the previous season. ThunderTalk Gaming and Qing Jiu Club showed a satisfying performance finishing fifth and sixth respectively.
LGD Gaming managed to grab the 15th position and qualify for the weekly finals. On the other hand, Team RNG and 4 Angry Men failed to qualify for the weekly PEL Season 4 Finals. Both of these teams have been showing poor performance, it will be interesting to see if these teams are able to come back.
