Activision is building hype for their upcoming updates to the Call of Duty franchise. This also includes Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and COD Mobile. The developers released teasers of this new content and it includes action heroes from famous movies Rambo and Die Hard.

We expect to see many action heroes in this crossover and they will be featured in several COD titles and famous characters like John Rambo and John McClane might be added to the game as new Operators. Here we will discuss which 80s action heroes have been teased and when the new update is due.

Call of Duty:Mobile was the first to tease these new additions in a teaser. Rambo was spotted there and it started the chain of speculation on how these characters might be introduced into the game. Recently, John McClane's exit was also teased by the COD Mobile Twitter account.

Well-known dialogue by John McClane was used as the caption for this post. These teasers are just previews of things to come in Call of Duty in the future. Call of Duty:Mobile's seasonal update is right around the corner and we might get our first glimpse of these action heroes in this game.

This new update could start rolling out in games from May 20, according to the official Call Of Duty Twitter post that reads “Some heroes die hard. Others draw First Blood.”

These announcements and posts have clearly created a lot of hype about new additions coming to the Call of Duty universe. Rambo and John McClane may be released in-game as new Operators and we'll have to wait for more announcements and confirmations in the future.
