One of the most prestigious events in PUBG Mobile, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 will start from November 23, 2021 and eventually end in January 2022.
Organized by PUBG Corporation and Tencent Games, PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 or better known as PMGC 2021 is the final event of all competitive tournaments in PUBG Mobile. Players from all over the world can participate in this tournament and compete for the honorable title of world champion. This year, officials have set a prize pool of $6,000,000, which is apparently the biggest prize pool in mobile eSports history.
Tencent in a press release announced that the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 will start from November 23, 2021. However, it has not been revealed whether this tournament will be held online or offline. Officials are making efforts to hold this tournament offline.

Just like PUBG Mobile Pro League format, PMGC 2021 will be split into League Stage and Finals. The championship phase will start from November 23, 2021 until December. The tournament finals will take place in January next year.
The race for a spot in PMGC 2021 has already begun as various regions hold PUBG Mobile Pro Leagues. Points scored by teams in Super Weekends will count towards qualifying for PMGC 2021. In addition to this, teams that were unable to participate in PMPL will also have a chance to qualify for PMGC 2021 with their respective regional finals.
PMPL is ongoing in various regions while others have already named the teams that have qualified for PMGC 2021. At present, the following teams have qualified for PMGC 2021 in regional leagues:
Thailand- Infinity Team
Indonesia- Genesis Dogma GIDS
MYSG- Team secret
Vietnam- D’Xavier
Arabia- Galactic Runner
Brazil- A7 Esports
SIC – Natus Vincere
All PUBG Mobile enthusiast is looking forward to this event. It was previously speculated that Indian PUBG Mobile teams would be allowed to participate in PMGC 2021 via Regional Finals despite the ban on PUBG Mobile in India. However, the chances are slim as Krafton has launched the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India.
