In a very shocking incident, the official PUBG Mobile Esports youtube channel was hacked and renamed SpaceX 2021. The hacker also shared a crypto video after hacking the channel.
Every battle royale game faces the challenge of eliminating hackers from their servers as soon as they can, as these hackers use various cheat tools to manipulate matches according to their own will. PUBG Mobile developers have repeatedly banned a significant number of accounts through their anti-cheat system. However, the hacking of the official PUBG Mobile Esports youtube channel was unforeseen.
One of the most popular battle royale games, PUBG Mobile has a dedicated youtube channel where all the prestigious PUBG Mobile tournaments are streamed live for the fans. The Esports channel was launched in 2018 and has amassed over 3 million subscribers.

The channel homepage was blank, however, when players accessed the videos section, all the previous content that aired on the official channel was present in the channel. Along with this, the crypto video that the hacker streamed was also present. The video was named "SpaceX's All-Civilian Mission Inspiration4" in reference to Elon Musk's aerospace manufacturing company, SpaceX.
The hack took place when the PUBG Mobile Pro League Arabia Finals was broadcast live. The number of viewers dropped drastically because of this incident. Most tournaments in PUBG Mobile get thousands of viewers, however, due to the hacker, the number of viewers dropped to 20-30.
As the hack took place around 11 p.m., the developers were kept on their toes. However, the channel was restored within hours and renamed to the original name. This incident has left a serious impact on officials who are desperately trying to curb hackers and cheaters and ensure a fair gaming environment for everyone.
The authorities are working to investigate this incident and verify that this type of incident does not repeat itself in the near future.
