A new Fortnite game mode could be on the way according to some renowned Fortnite leakers on Twitter and some probable leakers. Fortnite leakers have uncovered promotional images that may point to a new open-world game mode mentioned in the Epic v Apple lawsuit. Fortnite could be testing and working on a HUGE new game mode/LTM, maybe even in 17.40. The article details the possibility of a new Fortnite game mode and the leaks directed to it.

A game that took the world by storm, propelling streamers to new heights and giving regular players treble hits, it's something that's managed to stay fresh no matter how many hours have passed. After the storyline of Fortnite underwent a massive change with the Fortnite Season 7 update, Fortnite brought a new set of challenges to the game as well.
Several data miners have discovered two new images that have been added to the files of an upcoming LTM named Saturn. They predict that these images are part of an open-world game mode that Epic is currently testing and could be brought to Fortnite in a short time. Apparently, Epic Games vs. Apple test docs revealed that Fortnite might get a sandbox RPG mode soon enough.
"I don't think this was intended for release or as a teaser, the image URLs indicate this is a test and would use a different title. It's likely that Fortnite is testing and working on a HUGE new gamemode/LTM, possibly even in 17.40, which would explain why it has over 700 versions. Fortnite leaks on Twitter have been mentioned. Additionally, another prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX posted some footage a while back, though it wasn't taken seriously.
