September 28, 2021 – Free Fire MAX is now available for download worldwide on Google Play and iOS app stores. Free Fire MAX, a standalone mobile app, will offer gamers the same Free Fire gameplay with improved specs.

Craftland is an exclusive feature of Free Fire MAX that allows players to create their own maps and enjoy them with their friends, all from their mobile! Users can get creative and include various objects, buildings, structures and decorations on their own maps for a social and enjoyable experience with friends.
Completed maps can be played by Free Fire and Free Fire MAX players, with players able to share their custom maps for others to host. They can also like, subscribe and share their favorite maps to show their support for the creators!

Free Fire MAX provides graphically enhanced maps, allowing players to appreciate the finer details of their favorite maps.
Map effects have also been added to provide a more realistic gameplay experience. This includes additional effects on water bodies, safe zones, and the natural environment – players can even try shooting trees to see the leaves fall to the ground!
A new map, Bermuda MAX, will also be added to Free Fire MAX. The difference for Bermuda MAX is in the details. Bermuda MAX brings a redesigned clock tower and factory area, with details added to interior and exterior structures.
Free Fire MAX features visual and audio updates, allowing users to immerse themselves deeper in their Free Fire experience.
Animations of basic movements, such as running, jumping and crawling, have been improved to provide a smoother and more realistic experience. Special animations when players consume mushrooms and parachute across the map have also been added.
Weapon effects in Free Fire MAX have also received a boost. Weapon reload animations have been reworked, with refreshed sound effects to provide more realism.
Tracer and bullet hole effects have also been added to Free Fire MAX. Tracer effects have been added for weapons, and bullet holes will appear on walls and some structures on the map.
Tracer effects will only be visible from the player's perspective, so no additional benefits are granted to Free Fire MAX players.
