PUBG Update 13.1 Brings New Features to TAEGO Map, Sanhok Map Updates and More

A new PUBG update is knocking at the door – PUBG 13.1 update as the makers have already released the patch notes for the new update. It brought several changes to the TAEGO map, improvements to the Sanhok map, new upgradable weapons as well as a change in the Ranked Season 13 system.

PUBG update 13.1 patch notes

The previous 12.2 update got an overwhelming response from the players and PUBG decided to bring more new features to make PUBG steal the show from all other battle royale games. PUBG update 13.1 is set to release on August 4 for PC and August 12 for consoles.

TAEGO Map Updates

Multi-care packages: Players will now receive additional small airdrops as well as the standard airdrop which will provide them with more supplies such as ammo, healing consumables, throwables, etc.

Secret room: Secret rooms have been added to the TAEGO map which will provide players with rare items. To access these secret rooms, players must collect keys scattered around the map. Items that will be available in the Secret Room include Auto-DEA, Goggles, and a large number of healing items.

Emergency landing: A new feature has been added in flight that will cause engine failure, players will have the option to crash land. The emergency landing plane moves faster than the standard departure plane, but the drop height varies greatly, resulting in a varied drop duration. Players should take 50% damage if they decide not to jump out of the plane.

Changes to item spawning: New items have been added such as Emergency Pickup, C4, and Spike Trap. There will be a 37% increase in the Self-AED spawn item.

Sanhok Updates

Many changes have been made to the Sanhok map with PUBG Update 13.1

Northwest Island Geographic Improvements:New cliffs and rocks have been added on the northwest coast near the southern ruins and its connection area, which can be used as effective cover while scavenging. attacking enemies.

Summit Northwest Island Temple Improvements:Various improvements have been made to the temple as buildings that did not contain respawn items have been replaced with buildings that contain respawn items. Angles of rocks have also been adjusted.

Matchmaking – Map Rotation

• Paramo has been removed and Karakin has been added to normal matches

New ranked season

Season 13 ranked mode will begin when servers go live with the live server update next month.

• In Ranked mode, players of Diamond rank or above who do not play ranked for 7 days will begin to receive a daily RP decrease. In Season 13, this decline will only stop once a player graduates from Diamond to Platinum.
• At the start of Season 13, all eligible players will receive their Season 12 rewards, including nameplates/emblems available for the duration of the season.
• RP can now drop below 3000 in Season 13.
• 100 RP will be detected per day for players of Diamond level or above who do not play ranked at least once a week.

New Contraband Crate and progressive-weapon skin

• A new upgradeable weapon skin has been added for the SLR weapon, i.e. known as Buzzkill SLR. The skin can be upgraded up to level 10
• This weapon can be found in the new Contraband Crate – Buzzkill. Players can purchase this crate using G-coins. Various material items to upgrade the skin will also be found in this crate.

Vaporizers

• Sprays can be applied to most surfaces, excluding water, windows, vehicles and players.
• You can apply the sprays at close range only and in most situations, including moving or stationary.
• Sprays cannot be used in the lobby.
• Sprays can be equipped under Customize – Emotes &Sprays tab.
• Each player can only display one spray in the world at a time, with new sprays replacing previous ones.

Kill – post-enhancements

• Up to four actions – DBNOs, Assists, Kills &Team kills can be displayed at once, with different colors and effects to easily identify them
• Kill and assist counts now have animated effects.
• If multiple actions occur at the same time, up to four messages are displayed.
